Operation Smile, the world’s largest medical charity of its kind providing free cleft surgery and care, held its Smile Gala in San Francisco at the Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel on Saturday night.
Celebrity guests included Michael Franti (Musician, Humanitarian, Universal Smile Award recipient), Liam Mayclem (Eye on the Bay), Carmit Bachar (Pussycat Dolls& Smile Ambassador) and Hooman Khalili(Alice 97.3). Notable guests include: Event Co-Chairs, Shab Farzaneh & Shirin Aryanpour and Lisa Lori, Honorary Event Chair & Founders Circle member, Kristie Magee Porcaro (Family member of Operation Smile co-founders Dr. Bill and Kathy Magee & Operation Smile SVP of US and Global Philanthropy), Sara Agah (Co-Founder, Do it For The Love) and Laura Levesque Page (Do It For The Love, ED). Operation Smile, Smile & Host committee members included Homayra Arghandiwal, Leila Azad, Fiorella Giusti-Barrera, Floria Hakimi, Janet Lautenberger, Luke Lori, Jessica Malek, Katie Plotts, Chris Anderson, Natalie Cvijanovich, Kathy Van Zeeland, Gina Pell, Christa Porcaro, Marney Tenney and Hoss Zare.
